Pelvic floor electrical stimulation and muscles training: a combined rehabilitative approach for management of non-neuropathic urinary incontinence in children

Prospective randomized study of 46 children with non-neuropathic urinary incontinence comparing combined interferential electrical stimulation plus biofeedback versus biofeedback alone. Combined therapy demonstrated significantly superior outcomes at 6-month and 1-year follow-up, suggesting synergistic benefit of neuromuscular stimulation with pelvic floor muscle training for pediatric voiding dysfunction.
