Recurrent Ventral Curvature with Long-Term Follow-up after Transverse Preputial Island Urethroplasty

Long-term follow-up study of 43 patients who underwent transverse preputial island flap urethroplasty in early childhood reveals 32.5% developed recurrent ventral curvature after puberty. Recurrence was more common in patients with complications, particularly severe urethral strictures, highlighting the need for extended surveillance into adolescence and adulthood.
