Anterior sagittal anorectoplasty as a technique for the repair of female anorectal malformations: A twenty two-years-single-center experience

This retrospective study reports 22-year outcomes of 594 female patients with anorectal malformations treated using anterior sagittal anorectoplasty (ASARP). The technique achieved 95.6% good-to-fair continence scores with low complication rates, supporting single-stage repair without colostomy when performed early.
