Anatomy and management of upper moiety vascular variation in children with duplex kidney

Retrospective study of 84 children with duplex kidney examining upper pole vascular anatomy via CT angiography and outcomes of laparoscopic upper pole partial nephrectomy. Most cases (73%) had single arterial supply with perihilar branching pattern. Preoperative vascular mapping helps prevent hemorrhage and vessel injury during surgery.
