Spaced Education Improves the Retention of Laparoscopic Suturing Skills: A Randomized Controlled Study

Randomized trial of 20 students demonstrates spaced learning significantly improves long-term retention of laparoscopic suturing skills compared to traditional training methods. At 12-month follow-up, spaced learning group showed superior performance in speed, knot quality, and suture strength, with reduced anxiety and increased confidence.
