Long-term growth outcomes in neonates diagnosed with necrotizing enterocolitis: a 20-year analysis

Retrospective 20-year cohort study of 527 neonates (294 NEC cases, 233 matched controls) examines longitudinal growth outcomes in necrotizing enterocolitis survivors. Study includes Bell stage I-III cases with median gestational age 29 weeks and birth weight 1237g, analyzing length and weight trajectories from birth through two decades of follow-up.
