Acute idiopathic scrotal edema: A rare cause of scrotal erythema

Acute idiopathic scrotal edema (AISE) is a self-limited inflammatory condition presenting with scrotal swelling and erythema that can extend to surrounding regions. Characteristic ultrasound findings show scrotal wall thickening with hypervascularity but normal testicular structures. Recognizing this benign condition prevents unnecessary surgical intervention.
