The laparoscopic Palomo varicocelectomy (LPV) technique has been reported to be associated with a high rate of postoperative hydrocele, reaching up to 20–30 % [1,2]. Recently, the use of ICG has been described to reduce the incidence of this complication. Through intratesticular injection and intraoperative lymphography, lymphatic vessels can be preserved, leading to favorable outcomes [3–5]. Here, we present the operative technique of ICG-assisted LPV.
