We Must Say Good-bye to Dr. Mikko Pakarinen, but Please Say Hello to Drs. Augusto Zani and Robert Baird as Our Newest Executive Editors

2025 will be a time for change in the Editorial Leadership within the Journal of Pediatric Surgery (JPS). We have been blessed to have Dr. Mikko Pakarinen (Helsinki, Finland) as one of our Executive Editors for the past ten years. As has been mentioned in this editorial space previously, Elsevier, like many other publishers, has instituted a ten-year term limit policy for its executive leadership and, thus, Dr. Pakarinen's leadership will be missed. Dr. Pakarinen has done an outstanding job in his role as our former Editor for Europe and recently as one of our Executive Editors, and we are very sorry to have to see him leave us.
