Letter to the Editor in Response to: Risk Factors for Preoperative Pneumothorax in Neonates With Isolated Left-sided Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia: An International Cohort Study

We read with interest the article by Masahata et al. [1], that explores the risk factors for preoperative pneumothorax (PTX) in newborns with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). While we commend the authors for their comprehensive analysis of a substantial dataset, we are compelled to underscore certain aspects of their results that must be accounted for while interpreting their findings.
