Following the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision on overturning Roe v. Wade which ends the constitutional right to abortion, this decision may hugely impact the direction of neonatological care in many states in addition to widely discussed women's rights and obstetric care. During the first trimester, up to 60% of high-risk fetal structural abnormalities could be detected through ultrasound screening [2].
