Report of 53rd Annual Pacific Association of Pediatric Surgeons Meeting

articles · StayCurrentMD · Mar 27, 2021
History framed the Pacific Association of Pediatric Surgeons (PAPS) 2020 meeting with tragedy and a global pandemic. The last in-person meeting in Christchurch, New Zealand, concluded on March 14, 2019, and one day later two mass shootings occurred at mosques that were very near the site of the meeting. Despite the darkness of these events, the mission of PAPS to promote education and the international care of children carries on.
