We read with great interest the article “Optimal timing for inguinal hernia repair in premature infants: A systematic review and meta-analysis” by Masoudian et al [1]. While there have been many different centres publishing their retrospective data, we believe this is the first meta-analysis article on this topic, and we applaud the authors’ attempt to analyse it.
