We would like to express our appreciation for the insightful article “Exploring the Effectiveness of Virtual Reality in Pain and Stress Management in Pediatric Surgery” by Guan et al. [1], which provides a thorough investigation into the role of Virtual Reality (VR) in reducing pain and stress during pediatric surgery. The study's examination of focused VR and exploratory VR presents valuable insights into how these VR approaches can be tailored for specific therapeutic outcomes. However, we believe that integrating additional therapeutic techniques could further enhance the effectiveness of VR interventions in pediatric surgery.
