Multi-port laparoscopic versus single-site robotic with DaVinci Xi® elective cholecystectomy in adolescents: A single center 5-year review

Previous studies in adults have shown similar outcomes between single-site robotic-assisted cholecystectomy (RA-C) and multi-port laparoscopic-assisted cholecystectomy (LA-C). However, corresponding reports in the pediatric population remain limited. Following our previous comparative analysis using the DaVinci Si® robotic platform, the aim of the current study was to compare robotic vs. laparoscopic cholecystectomy techniques in the adolescent population using the DaVinci Xi® system.
