We read with great interest the article titled “Low Plasma Sodium Concentration as a Predictor of Perforated Acute Appendicitis in Children: A Retrospective Study in a Low-Middle Income Country Setting.” [1] The study highlights the potential role of serum sodium levels in predicting perforated appendicitis in resource-limited settings.
