Letter to the Editor: Re: Aspartate aminotransferase-to-platelet ratio index (APRi) as biomarker for liver damage in biliary atresia (BA): a meta-analysis

I appreciate the authors’ thoughtful response to my letter and their effort to clarify the methodological scope of their meta-analysis on APRi in biliary atresia [1]. I fully recognize the clinical relevance of the topic and the challenges of synthesizing heterogeneous data. My comments are intended to improve methodological transparency and interpretive consistency.
