The systematic review aimed to highlight outcomes of cryopreservation in pediatric female patients with cancer
The review included 12 studies with 612 patients total
501 patients underwent ovarian tissue cryopreservation
Only 30 of the 501 patients received ovarian tissue transplantation
Of the 30 patients who received transplantation, 9 got pregnant
Only 6 of the 9 pregnancies resulted in live birth
More high quality studies are needed to understand cryopreservation better and improve its outcomes
