The integration of environmental sustainability and planetary health research into continuing medical education is becoming increasingly essential, as demonstrated by the recent Paediatric Surgery Research Day. This event is a local, accredited, annual research conference for the Division of Paediatric Surgery at Children's Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre in Ontario, Canada. At this conference, research presentations in many areas of paediatric surgery are represented including general surgery, otolaryngology, orthopaedic surgery, urology, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, and neurosurgery.
