In brief

This study evaluates how an e-health platform (One-4-ALL) affects clinical workflow and sustainability when used to educate families about pediatric gastrostomy tube placement and care. The platform delivers perioperative education through multimedia content covering surgical procedures, postoperative management, and home troubleshooting, aiming to reduce clinician workload while maintaining educational quality.

  • E-health platform (One-4-ALL) delivers perioperative GT education via written content, photos, and videos to reduce repetitive clinician teaching.
  • Tool covers operation details, postoperative care, complication recognition, and home troubleshooting for families of pediatric GT patients.
  • Study evaluates clinical team impact: workflow integration, time savings, and long-term sustainability of digital education delivery.
  • Standardized digital education may decrease clinician burden while maintaining or improving family preparedness for GT management.
