In brief
This study examines whether higher disposable supply costs in pediatric operating rooms correlate with better patient outcomes across sixteen common procedures. Findings reveal significant cost variation between surgeons performing identical operations without corresponding differences in clinical outcomes.
Written by the GCMD Library team from the article.

The general relationship between variation in disposable supply cost and patient outcomes is unknown. We aimed to evaluate the relationship between disposable supply cost and patient outcomes for sixteen common operations.
