Laparoscopic Protack™ rectopexy: Early experience of a novel technique for full thickness rectal prolapse in children

Prospective case series of 7 pediatric patients (ages 2-17) undergoing laparoscopic ProTack rectopexy for full thickness rectal prolapse demonstrates 100% symptom resolution with median 1-day hospital stay and 17-month follow-up. The mesh-free technique offers a safe alternative to traditional suture rectopexy with lower failure risk.
