Letter to the Editor in Response to: Retrospective Review of Management of Antenatally Diagnosed Ovarian Cysts at the Hospital for Sick Children
Abstract
We read with great interest the article by Bloomfield et al., titled “Retrospective Review of Management of Antenatally Diagnosed Ovarian Cysts at the Hospital for Sick Children”. Their study offers valuable insights into the long-term outcomes of ovary-preserving surgery for neonatal ovarian cysts, supporting the effectiveness of expectant management for simple cysts. However, the management of complex cysts, particularly those complicated by torsion and auto-amputation, requires deeper exploration [1].
