Enhancing Data Transparency in Pediatric Surgery: The Potential of Sankey Diagrams for Complex Data Visualization
Abstract
The widespread advancement of science is particularly promising in pediatric surgery, a field that has demonstrated accelerated progress compared to the past. However, certain issues warrant attention. While the increasing number of questionnaire and survey studies in pediatric surgery is encouraging and highly valuable, it is important to address specific challenges unique to this field [1,2]. Pediatric surgery primarily deals with rare diseases, where achieving adequate sample sizes is often difficult.
