Proliferative Effects of Mesenchymal Stromal Cells on Neuroblastoma Cell Lines: Are They Tumor Promoting or Tumor Inhibiting?

This study investigates whether mesenchymal stromal cells promote or inhibit neuroblastoma growth by comparing the effects of placental-derived and bone marrow-derived MSCs on neuroblastoma cell proliferation in vitro. Understanding MSC-tumor interactions is critical for developing MSC-based cellular therapies in high-risk pediatric neuroblastoma.
