Validation of the Clavien-Madadi Classification for Unexpected Events in Pediatric Surgery: A Collaborative ERNICA Project

This study validates the Clavien-Madadi classification system for grading unexpected surgical events in pediatric patients through international collaboration with the ERNICA network. The classification adapts the adult Clavien-Dindo system to better capture complications specific to children undergoing surgery.
