Reducing Postoperative CT Imaging for Children With Complicated Appendicitis: A Pediatric Surgical Quality Collaborative Quality Improvement Project

This quality improvement study examines institutional variation in postoperative CT imaging practices for pediatric complicated appendicitis across children's hospitals. The PSQC collaborative identified factors distinguishing high and low CT utilization centers to reduce unnecessary radiation exposure in surgical patients.
