Development of pediatric minimally invasive surgery in mainland China

This article reviews the rapid advancement of pediatric laparoscopic surgery in mainland China over the past two decades, driven by international training partnerships and high surgical volumes. Chinese pediatric surgeons have achieved outcomes comparable to or exceeding open surgery through accelerated experience and innovation.
