Kono-S anastomosis in Crohn’s disease: initial experience in pediatric patients

This retrospective study reports the first pediatric experience with Kono-S anastomosis following ileocecal resection in 12 Crohn's disease patients. The technique proved safe and feasible with no postoperative complications at median 9.5-month follow-up, suggesting potential benefit in reducing anastomotic recurrence rates in children.
