Advantages of single-site laparoscopic orchiopexy for palpable undescended testes in children: a prospective comparison study

This prospective study of 223 pediatric patients demonstrates that single-site laparoscopic orchiopexy achieves comparable success rates (99%) to conventional laparoscopic approaches while eliminating visible abdominal scarring. Operating times were initially longer but equalized with experience, making single-site technique a viable option for palpable undescended testes.
