The efficacy of robotic-assisted laparoscopic pyeloplasty for pediatric ureteropelvic junction obstruction: a systematic review and meta-analysis

This systematic review and meta-analysis of 26 studies (6,074 cases) demonstrates that robotic-assisted laparoscopic pyeloplasty (RALP) achieves comparable success rates to open and traditional laparoscopic approaches for pediatric UPJ obstruction, with advantages including shorter hospital stays and reduced anastomosis time, though at higher cost and longer operative time.
