Ureterocele with duplex collecting systems and febrile urinary tract infection risk

This retrospective study of 300 patients demonstrates that ureterocele in duplex collecting systems significantly increases febrile UTI risk (69.8% vs 48.9%, HR 1.894). The findings support early minimally invasive surgical intervention to reduce recurrent infections in this population.
