Referrals from primary care with foreskin symptoms: Room for improvement

This UK study found that over 75% of boys referred to pediatric surgery for foreskin concerns had physiological phimosis requiring no intervention, with more than half discharged at first visit. The findings suggest improved education for parents and primary care providers could significantly reduce unnecessary referrals and associated costs.
