Long term results of non-refluxing ureteral reimplantation in the pediatric population

This retrospective study of 69 pediatric patients demonstrates that non-refluxing ureteral reimplantation provides durable long-term results with no technical failures over 17.5 years of follow-up. The procedure successfully reduced febrile UTIs in VUR patients and preserved renal function in obstructive megaureter cases, though bilateral VUR patients showed higher complication rates.
