Cardiac anomalies in children with congenital duodenal obstruction: a systematic review with meta-analysis

This systematic review of 6,725 patients found cardiac anomalies in 29% of children with congenital duodenal obstruction, with ventricular septal defects and atrial septal defects being most common. The findings support routine preoperative cardiac screening for all duodenal obstruction patients.
