Feasibility and safety of laparoscopic tumor resection in children with abdominal neuroblastomas

This retrospective study of 35 pediatric abdominal neuroblastoma cases demonstrates that laparoscopic resection is safe and effective for tumors ≤60mm without image-defined risk factors, achieving complete resection with significantly less blood loss than open surgery. Five-year survival was equivalent between approaches at 93.8%.
