Comparative analysis on the outcomes in circumcising children using modified Chinese ShangRing and conventional surgical circumcision

This retrospective study of 228 pediatric patients compares the modified Chinese ShangRing device to conventional surgical circumcision for phimosis treatment. The ShangRing demonstrated shorter operative time, reduced blood loss, and higher parental satisfaction (94.7% vs 83.3%), though with longer healing time and increased edema rates.
