This study compares cardiopulmonary profiles between adolescent and adult pectus excavatum patients, finding adults present with more severe symptoms, deeper deformities, and reduced exercise capacity. The findings suggest earlier surgical intervention may prevent age-related functional decline in this chest wall deformity.
