This study demonstrates that one-stop inguinal hernia surgery—combining outpatient consultation, preoperative assessment, and same-day repair—significantly reduces hospital visits (1 vs 3) while maintaining safety and improving family satisfaction. With 98% same-day discharge and comparable complication rates to traditional care, this approach offers an efficient alternative for pediatric hernia management.
