Use of electronic health record best practice alerts to improve adherence to American Urological Association vesicoureteral reflux guidelines

Retrospective study evaluating EHR-based best practice alerts for AUA vesicoureteral reflux guidelines in 123 pediatric patients. While alerts improved height measurement documentation at initial visits, they did not significantly increase provider adherence to blood pressure screening or urinalysis ordering, suggesting BPA implementation alone is insufficient for guideline uptake.
