Improvement in bladder function in children with functional constipation after a bowel management program

Retrospective study of 241 children with functional constipation demonstrates significant improvement in bladder function following bowel management program intervention. Validated scoring systems showed measurable improvement in urinary symptoms, supporting bowel management as an effective treatment strategy for lower urinary tract symptoms in pediatric patients with concurrent bowel and bladder dysfunction.
