Severe Trampoline Injuries: Incidence and Risk Factors in Children and Adolescents

Population-based Finnish study found severe trampoline injuries occur at 6.28/100,000 children annually, predominantly in boys attempting unsupervised backflips. Most injuries were cervical spine ligamentous injuries and sternal fractures, with 8 of 11 accidents occurring without adult supervision.
