Mid–short-term risk factors for chronic renal failure in children with posterior urethral valve

Retrospective study of 143 children with posterior urethral valve identifies delayed valve resection (>35.5 months) and elevated detrusor pressure (>41.65 cmH2O) as key predictors of chronic renal failure. Maintaining lower bladder pressures post-ablation correlates with better long-term kidney outcomes.
