Early postoperative complications in pediatric abdominal solid tumor surgery according to Clavian–Dindo classification

Retrospective analysis of 10-year pediatric abdominal solid tumor surgery data reveals 10% overall complication rate, with chylous leak and surgical field collections most common. Male patients and those requiring multiple surgeries showed higher complication rates, with extragonadal germ cell and hepatic tumors carrying greatest risk.
