Postchemotherapy gross residual tumor in non-high-risk neuroblastoma: Clinical significance and the role of adjuvant therapy

Retrospective study of 131 non-high-risk neuroblastoma patients finds that gross residual tumor after chemotherapy does not predict worse outcomes and may not require additional treatment. However, patients with minimal tumor volume reduction during induction have increased progression risk and may benefit from selective adjuvant therapy.
