Early vs late resection of asymptomatic congenital lung malformations

This retrospective study of 110 asymptomatic congenital lung malformation cases demonstrates that early elective resection before 4 months of age is safe and feasible, with shorter operative times and no increased complication rates compared to later surgery. The series includes diverse management approaches from fetal intervention to postnatal elective resection.
