Complex Bench Surgery Does Not Increase the Risk of Vascular Complications after Pediatric Kidney Transplantation

Retrospective analysis of 80 pediatric kidney transplants demonstrates that complex bench surgery techniques—required in 49% of cases due to vascular anomalies—do not increase the risk of vascular complications, graft dysfunction, or compromise overall graft survival compared to standard bench surgery.
