Early postoperative complications in pediatric abdominal solid tumor surgery according to Clavian–Dindo classification

Retrospective analysis of 400+ pediatric abdominal solid tumor resections reveals 10% early complication rate, with chylous leak and surgical site collections most common. Male patients and those requiring multiple surgeries face higher complication risk, with extragonadal germ cell and hepatic tumors showing highest complication rates at 35% and 29% respectively.
