Early endoscopic injection may prevent new scarring in idiopathic detrusor overactivity disorder with vesicoureteral reflux in children

Study of 49 children with idiopathic detrusor overactivity and VUR demonstrates that early endoscopic subureteric injection significantly reduces new renal scar formation compared to delayed intervention. Waiting for symptom resolution with targeted treatment alone increases scarring risk despite similar STING success rates across timing groups.
