Modified Technique for Robot-Assisted Laparoscopic Infantile Ureteral Reimplantation for Obstructive Megaureter

This study presents a modified robot-assisted laparoscopic technique for ureteral reimplantation in infants with obstructive megaureter, extending the detrusor tunnel to the anterior bladder wall to optimize tunnel length and prevent angulation. In 16 infants, the approach achieved 94.4% success with significant reduction in ureteric diameter and minimal complications at mean 16-month follow-up.
